We truly appreciate your understanding as we make a few upcoming changes and give our provider some well-deserved time to rest, recharge, and spend time with family and loved ones.

NOTICE TO PATIENTS
To our beautiful new and established families,
This message is not to discourage but encourage new growth! You are all welcoming new loved ones to your families, as we are welcoming you all into ours. As our families are growing, changes are inevitable.
Unfortunately, Lowcountry Family Care is in the near future, potentially ending our pediatrics program. Most of you know our Pediatric NP, Andrea Casias, is expecting a baby late this summer. She may be leaving us in August; we are not sure when or if she will be returning from leave this time, since she has been blessed with baby number 6!!! We also know that her ever-growing family will be moving, within the next year, to their forever home.
Leading up to this, we would like to be prepared. She will need some time off within this transition period.
At this time, please consider looking for pediatric practices that you are comfortable bringing your children to for their future care, and start the transition. We are more than willing to help you through this process with records or anything else you may need while making the change. This all being said, we are not asking anyone to leave the practice. Trish will be glad to continue care for your children, but would like to give you all the courtesy of finding someone else who can be as accommodating, while being more pediatric-oriented for your family.
We wish you all and your families the healthiest and happiest futures, no matter what.
Thank you, and with love,
Lowcountry Family Care,
Tricia Amelung FNP-BC
